Markus Johannes Pieroth 2010-03-11	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach Quiet location. Clean rooms (Penthouse). Nice service, but a little bit slow. No internet service available. Little breakfast a la carte. Only 6 deck chairs available at the pool, too less. Clean beach, but also no deck chairs... Hotel located directly to the sea.	Easy and uncomplicated
Georgina Connolly bray 2010-02-15	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach This hotel is exactly how it presents itself on line with the exception that we found its situation very cramped. The rooms was lovely and spacious and the bathroom stylish and very large. But because of the shortage of space overall, the rooms were on top of each other with the results that sitting on our terrace (tiny) we were a matter of only feet away from the next room s noisy air conditioning unit. The cramped nature of the whole hotel meant also that the pool area was very small with the sun beds very close to each other. We travelled by choice on our own and had to avoid the pool area as it meant becoming part of the group (I think there were only 9 sun beds and a few deck chairs) around the pool - you couldn t possibly sit by the pool and not join in without appearing unfriendly. The drinks prices were unbelievably high - a beer cost just over double the price in other hotels of the same quality and price and the restaurant was disappointing - limited menu and over priced. The beach was OK, but absolutely no good for snorkelling.	excellent as usual
MRS NICOLA PIERCY 2009-03-31	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach What a lovely little gemstone on Samui !! Perfect beachfront location, within a two minute walk of Big Buddha s bars but far enough away that it s very quiet at night. We had a penthouse room, which had a beautiful view out to sea as promised. Airport collection was very smooth, but bear in mind the airport is pretty close - so if you don t like the sound of the few planes that land during the day this isn t for you. To be honest they didn t bother us at all. Lovely small spa area with really well trained therapists. Had a full massage, manicure and pedicure and thoroughly enjoyed each. The included breakfast was good and could either be taken in the pool bar area or on a lovely strech of raised sand overlooking the actual beach. A couple of very small things that would add to this place - there aren t any robes in the rooms - which (as I m one to chill out on the balcony and watch the sunset post sunbathing) was a bit of a dissapointment... and a couple of extra bits of furniture i.e. a comfy seat in the penthouse room (i think the pool rooms had a sofa?) wouldn t have gone amiss... but seriously that s the only two faults I can pick !! This is a really peaceful place - i think that there are only about twenty rooms in total - the staff are excellent - and the manager was superb - they also run their own taxi pretty much 24-7 so it s easy if you want to get around the island in relative ease. If you are travelling on to Koh Phanang this place is perfect (we stayed five nights here and then a further three on Koh Phanang) as the ferry service into Haad Rin is literally 100m away. If you are a couple or a family looking for excellent accommodation this place is for you - if you want excitement and buzz head towards Chaweng Beach!! We will be going back.	Great service. Used before. Very smooth. No issues at all.
Lim, CL 2007-12-08 until 2007-12-12	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach We had a great time. It s a boutique resort (so, not crowded) with very friendly and helpful staff. The villa we stayed in was spacious and clean - steps away from the pool, the beach and the restaurant. Very convenient.	Very prompt and efficient. Will definitely use sawadee.com again for my next Thailand hotel booking.
Stephanie Lanzone 2007-09-29 until 2007-10-07	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach We stayed in a beach front villa for 8 days and had a brilliant time. The food and wine selection available at the pool bar was superberb. We loved the quiet of Big Buddah Beach which was still convenient enough to pop across to Bophut and down to Lamai. Tim and Nicki were fabulous hosts - can t fault anything!	Very easy, secure and simple.
Sally Woffinden 2007-06-21 until 2007-06-28	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach We loved this small resort!! We stayed in beach villa 2. It was amazing. Great value for money. The staff were very freindly and helpful, and the food was fab. We visted out of season, so we had the resort to ourselves. The only noise was the airplanes over head, as the resort is close to the airport. It didnt bother us in the slightest. Very tranquil, we had a great 7 nights there. Only 15 min taxi to the busy Chaweng area. So a great location for us.	Excellent!!! 10/10
sarah tuke 2006-12-29 until 2007-01-02	Saboey Resort and Villas, Big Buddha Beach After losing our luggage on a flight with emirates, my girlfrind and I had no clothes for 6 days, we where very upset as you can imagine, I told the English manager of the hotel, As we where booked in for New Years Eve dinner, I informed the manager that we could not attend as we had no clothes , He said he would look in to it for us.....on the day we checked out the manager charged us £120 for a dinner we couldnt attend???? I was disgusted at the hotels greed and lack of empathy, I would not recmomend this place to anyone, the food was terrible and cold, Also when we where arguing about the bill another couple where charged for NYE and they where very upset, the hotel really let itself down for being unreasonable and greedy, dont stay there!!!	Excellent
